Connecting to the speakers
To use the Sonos speakers, you need to only load the free SONOS app onto your phone or device. (Android or IOS versions available free)
From the Sonos app, you may choose to stream your choice of music from Spotify, or connect to the music streaming service of your choice.
You may choose to play the music in any or all of the 5 zones at the same time.
The house is divided into 5 zones, each with its own (or one pair, in Living Room) Sonos Symfonisk speakers, which also doubles as a table lamp
Zones:
- Living (2 speakers paid for stereo effect)
- Master Bedroom
- Upstairs Bedroom
- Bedroom (downstairs)
- Bedroom 2 (downstairs)
Back Panel:
- Connect the main Power slot (1) to a power outlet using the provided cord to turn on the speaker. Once connected, the speaker remains powered on.
Use the Ethernet port (2) to establish a wired connection for WiFi if a wireless connection isn't available or is slow.
Front Panel:
Adjust the volume directly from the speaker using the Volume Down (3) and Volume Up (4) buttons.
Press the Play/Pause button (5) to start or stop audio playback directly from the speaker.
The Status Indicator (6) illuminates when the speaker is in use.
Remote Playback:
Download the SONOS app on your smart device to remotely manage playback on the speaker.
Connect the app to your speaker and ensure both devices are connected to the internet to control the speaker using the app.
